Exterior room tone and ambiance captured at 7:30 am in an empty apartment in a residential neighbourhood in bangalore, india. Some birds, light passing vehicles.
This is a smoothly rising shepard tone that i created using adobe audition 3's tone generator. I generated the tone as sine waves in 7 different octaves and mixed the results together. The period of repetition is 10 seconds. (this is a second version in which i removed the phase variance, making the sound monophonic for all practical purposes).
Short room tone captured from a medium sized house room. Hour: 2am. Very light birds can be heard sometimes. Mono sound, registered with microphone rode ntg-3 on boompole and recorder tascam hd-p2.
A highly-modified shepard tone. Reversed, inverted, reverbed, added bass with lowered treble, and to top it all off a highly resonant wah-wah sound effect. All made in audacity.
I created a dtmf tone with an amplitude of 0. 8 and a tone/silence ratio of 550 and during 7s. Then i amplified 1. 3 db sound. And finally i multiplied the speed of 0,960.
This is a room tone. I can't remember where i recorded it or why. I used it to produce a claustrophobic board room in medical institution for a podcast i was commissioned to do sound design for.
Rauhigkeit 1 Apser = Sinus 1000 Hz und Sinus 1070 Hz gleichzeitig. The sound of a harshness of 1 asper = a sine wave tone of 1000 Hz 100 % modulated with a sine wave tone of 70 Hz at 60 dB sound pressure.
Recording of my office before anyone else is in. The only sound apart from the faint fan noise is a regular, very, very faint beep from something every few seconds (approx. 3. 7 khz). Zoom h5 with xyh5 capsules.
A sound file playing the interval of an augmented fifth, in equal temperment. The first tone is a sine wave at 300 Hz, the second is at 476.1 Hz, the last is the interval. Made with NCH Tone generator.
City tone recorded from a tiny yard. Zoom h1. Unfiltered. Some far birds. Use and abuse this sound for free. You can credit me if you want, it's always nice to have some feedback. Show me love: http://www. Orbitalchiller. Com.
A short alarm followed by a beep, which sounds like a missile locking system being used. To create this effect i sped up and changed the pitch of an alarm clock, and followed it by a beep from a tone generator, which created my desired effect. The alarm tone comes from the sound from this url: (http://www. Freesound. Org/people/playpauseandrewind/sounds/120526/#comments).
This is a recording of a Wolf Tone on the major sixth or seventh above the open G on a cello. I recorded this sound using an Azden SGM-X microphone and edited it in Audacity.
